Join our RE-Generation

As a community we have taken up this challenge and will have our first Sustainability Fair in March 2020. Please consider how you can assist us to make this Fair a successful awareness raising event as well as a fundraising event for our school.

At St Alipius we know that sustainability isn’t just about what farmers and mining companies and what governments do - it is about the choices we make every day. Recently someone who works for Ballarat City Council alerted our school to the fact that a whole area along the Yarrowee Creek has been reforested over the past 10 years through the work of Dan Pollard and the students of St Alipius.

We also had great leadership from our 3 /4  team who used Pope Francis’ writing about the Environment - Laudato Si - as an inspiration for their performance. They explored what it means to be a generation who are committed to ensuring that Íf it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled or composted; then it should be restricted, redesigned or removed from production.

Postponed until further notice.

We acknowledge the Wadawurrung people who are the traditional owners of this land and pay our respects to their elders past, present and future.
