Learning Diversity @ St Alipius

At St Alipius, we wholeheartedly embrace the richness of learning diversity within our student community. Recognizing that each child possesses unique strengths, challenges, and learning styles, our dedicated educators employ a comprehensive approach to address the diverse needs of our students. Through differentiation of teaching, we tailor instruction to accommodate various learning preferences, ensuring that every child receives personalised support.

Our school prioritizes the implementation of evidence-based interventions for students requiring additional assistance.  We draw on the latest research-based programs to provide targeted assistance where needed. Additionally, a range of support services is seamlessly integrated to provide additional assistance to students who require it, fostering an inclusive learning environment. By embracing and celebrating learning diversity, St Alipius strives to create an educational atmosphere that not only accommodates individual needs but also nurtures the full spectrum of talents and abilities within our vibrant school community.

National Consistent Collection of Data [NCCD]

Picture
The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) gives Australian schools, parents, guardians and carers, education authorities and the community information about the number of students with disability in schools and the adjustments they receive.

The NCCD collects data about school students with disability who are receiving adjustments across Australia in a consistent, reliable and systematic way. It enables schools, education authorities and governments to better understand the needs of students with disability and how they can be best supported at school.
