Student Wellbeing

St Alipius implements a whole school approach to Student Wellbeing with programs such as Peaceful Kids and the Respectful Relationships Curriculum, delivered across all year levels.

Peaceful Kids program

The 'Peaceful Kids' program is a Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based program to lessen anxiety and stress and increase resilience in children from Prep through to Year 12. This program helps children to build their emotional resilience so they are better equipped to deal with the day to day stresses that life brings them.

At St Alipius the Peaceful Kids program is conducted by our trained Pastoral Care educator, Suzie Sullivan.  Suzie also runs
Peaceful Parent sessions, which informs and skills parents on how to use strategies explored in the Peaceful Kids program so they can also be used at home.  This is a great way to develop strong home-school partnerships.
